Accepting These Terms

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use BikeRider (“BikeRider“ or “we“ or “us“). By accessing or using BikeRider, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use BikeRider.


When you create an account with us, you may choose to provide us with your name. You may not use the name of another person or entity, or an offensive, vulgar, or obscene word as your name in BikeRider. You must notify BikeRider immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever. If we terminate or suspend your account for any reason, you are prohibited from registering and creating a new account under your name, a fake or borrowed name. You are also prohibited from using the name of any third party, even if you may be acting on behalf of a third party.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may discontinue using BikeRider.


BikeRider is provided “as is“ and “as available“ with all faults and defects and without warranty of any kind.

We provide no warranty that BikeRider will meet your expectations or requirements, or meet any performance or reliability standards or be error-free.

Guidelines for Posting Events

When posting an event on BikeRider you should

  • Be relevant. Events posted on BikeRider should be relevant to the cycling community. It could be a ride, a race, or a trail work event. It could be an in-person biking protest or a meeting concerning biking, infrastructure related to bikes, or bike-related laws. Events not related to biking, or the cycling community, are not allowed and will be removed. We may also remove events at any time due to safety, legal, or ethical reasons.
  • Be nice and honest. When posting an event, use respectful language and images appropriate for a general audience. The title of the event should be relevant and easy to understand. Include information that accurately reflects the event's intention and if there are any fees. Also, disclose if the event (or the event organizer) is associated with a business, organization, or another third party. It is prohibited to create content at BikeRider that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, pornographic, threatening, obscene, or is intended to (or does) harass or bully others.
  • Own rights to what you post. When you choose to post an event, please make sure you have the necessary rights to use the content you upload to BikeRider.

Assumption of Risks

You acknowledge that BikeRider has no control over and does not guarantee the quality, safety, accuracy, or legality of any event or race you may find using BikeRider. We can not guarantee the truth or accuracy of any information provided by other users, event organizers, or organizer's ability to perform or complete any event.

You also acknowledge that riding bikes and going to bike events can carry inherent dangers, such as the risk of illness, bodily injury, disability, or death. By participating in these events, you understand and agree that you have freely chosen to assume these risks.


BikeRider contains links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by us. When using BikeRider, you acknowledge and agree that we have no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed by the laws of California, USA. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in California, USA.

Your use of BikeRider may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.

Disputes Resolution

If you have any concerns or disputes about BikeRider, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us.

You warrant that

  • You are not located in a country that is subject to the United States government embargo, or the United States government has designated that as a “terrorist supporting“ country
  • You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties

Report abuse

If you notice images, descriptions of events, contexts, or any content posted on BikeRider that you feel in any way violates these terms, please contact us at team@bikerider.app

If you believe that content posted on BikeRider infringes on your intellectual property rights, please contact us by email, letter or phone.


We may change these terms from time to time. If we do so, we'll let you know by updating the date at the top of this page. Changes to these terms are effective when we post them here.
