You can ride 22 miles roundtrip from Carpinteria to Santa Barbara with a quick stop at an orchid farm and the opportunity to look around Santa Barbara before returning. Another option is to ride 50 miles roundtrip to Goleta on the coastal and inland roads with some hills.
